Surveys

Surveys let you send out questions to collect qualitative information from team members.

Sleuth's Survey workflow guides you through choosing the right questions, sending them to the right recipients, collecting their responses (all via Slack), and interpreting summarized responses with insightful data visualizations and AI summaries.

You can then add summarized results to a Review to tell a rich story that combines qualitative and quantitative metrics.

What's in a Survey?

  1. Table of contents: Provides inks and "traffic light" scores for Sections within the Survey

  2. Workflow buttons: Advances the Survey to its next state in the Survey workflow

  3. Date range: Determines the date range when survey results are collected

  4. Widget selector: Menu of additional Widgets that can be added to the Survey (for adding additional questions or visualizations of Survey results)

  5. Survey results section: A showcase of survey results that presents average scores, historical score trends, and participation rates.

  6. Survey questions section: A list of Survey questions that recipients will be asked to answer, along with the questions specific answers, scoring, and AI summary of the answers

  7. Section comments: Used by Survey owners and team members to discuss specific Survey questions or results

Survey templates

Sleuth comes with Survey templates that recommend questions for analyzing Developer sentiment or running a full Squad health check.

Surveys created from Survey Templates can be customized, or you can start from scratch.
